In graphs of Distance vs. Time, the speed of an object in motion or at rest (or both) is shown! Write an appropriately creative story explaining what happened to make the graph look like that: Choose an object whose state of motion is represented by the graph below. Describe what it is doing at each different part of the graph. Your story should be at least 2 paragraphs.

Physics Standards - in our own words
Block 1:
We can give characteristics about gravity pulling matter toward the center of Earth and change of position of everything with mass.
Block 2:
We can tell details about how 1) gravity pulls objects made of matter toward Earth; and 2)the change of position of objects.
Block 3:
By giving details, we can tell about: 1. the downward pull of gravity; and 2. how objects change position.
Block 4:
I can give features about the pull of gravity and how objects change their placement.

STANDARD for Evolution Unit (in our own words)
Block 1: "I can talk about and give examples of Evolution by giving information on generations of species, how they change over time, and their characteristics and adaptations."
Block 2: "I can tell people about adaptations, characteristics of species that changed over many generations in which Evolution has happened."
Block 3: "I can show that I know about Evolution by telling about how change happens to species' characteristics and adaptations over time."
Block 4: "I can tell you things about Evolution which affects species that adapt characteristics over many generations."
