Block 1--ADAPTATION: (noun) A variation that makes a species evolve so it can become better suited for its environment.
Block 2--ADAPTATION: (noun) An adjustment to an organism that is changed over time to help the organism survive and reproduce in its environment.
Block 3--ADAPTATION: (noun) Any beneficial change in physical characteristics that best suits an organism to its environment, such as... camouflage, teeth, thumbs, wings, beaks, and/or fur.
Block 4--ADAPTATION: (noun) A change over time that is helpful to a species that is best suited for survival in its environment, such as... camouflage, beaks, warm-blooded, hair, fur, and/or height.
